🎙️Podcast Run of Show

Everything you need, before we hit record

You’re booked. Fabulous!

This page walks you through exactly what to expect so the recording feels easy, focused, and genuinely useful for listeners.

No overproduced nonsense. No gotchas.

Our Recording Studio (Not Zoom)

We don’t record on Zoom.

We use Riverside, a high-quality remote studio built specifically for podcasts. Better audio, better video, fewer headaches.

What to know:

  • No downloads required (unless you’re joining from your phone)
  • Your unique join link is already in your email + calendar invite
  • Backup studio link (just in case): Aimee's Riverside Studio Link
  • Here is an additional Tech Check in case of any issues

When You Join

Before we hit record, we’ll take a few minutes to:

  • Say hello (actual human interaction)
  • Make sure your background isn’t distracting
  • Do a quick lights, camera, and sound check

A few things to put you at ease:

  • This is not live
  • If you stumble on a sentence, we clean it up
  • If something feels off, say so—we’ll cut it and keep going

This is a conversation, not a performance.

Run of Show

Target length: 20–35 minutes

Opening

  • We’ll open by briefly positioning your work and your business.
  • You’ll be introduced with 2–3 concise bullets that establish credibility without hype.
  • Then you’ll hear something like:
“NAME, welcome to the show…”
  • You respond, and we’re rolling

Your Expertise Snapshot

  • What kind of business you run
  • What you're personally responsible for
  • One thing your experience has taught you that most people in your industry get wrong

Your Core Business Insight

We’ll zoom in on one real tactic, system, or decision that helped you reach your current stage of business.

I’ll guide you with prompts like:

  • What’s a common mistake you see in your space?
  • What’s worked for you that most people overlook?
  • What’s a belief about growth or operations you think is flat-out wrong?
  • If someone were starting from zero, what’s the first move you’d tell them to make?

What You’re Working Through Now

We’ll zoom back out and talk about a current challenge or tension you’re navigating.

Makes you relatable. Gives listeners perspective, not just advice

Where People Can Find You

We’ll close with how listeners can connect with you:

  • Website
  • Social profiles
  • Resources or offers (if relevant)

Clean and straightforward. No sales pitch energy.

After We Wrap

We’ll stay on briefly (off-record) to see if:

  • There’s a collaboration angle worth exploring
  • There’s a way to support each other moving forward

No pressure. Just a quick check-in.

Editing & Distribution

Once recorded:

  • The episode goes through AI-assisted editing
  • Our team reviews and edits for clarity, not perfection
  • Then it goes live on:
    • YouTube
    • Apple Podcasts
    • Spotify

We’ll also publish short clips on my personal Linkedin page

Optional Prep (Totally Optional)

Not required, but helpful:

  • Bring one insight you enjoy talking about
  • Have water nearby
  • Silence notifications
  • Show up ready for a clean, thoughtful conversation

Everything else is on us.
